A ingot is formed by melting, purifying and solidifying feedstock into a brickshaped

ingot. Most of our ingots weigh up to 260 kilograms and reach the size of 690mm x

690mm x 240 mm. The ingots are then cut into blocks.

Prostar's blocks are available in two different sizes: 125mm x 125mm x 240 mm and

156mm x 156mm x 240 mm. We use our blocks to produce wafers.

The blocks are then sliced into wafers with wire saws. Thinner wafers enable a more

efficient use of polysilicon. Our prevailing thickness is 210 microns. Our wafers are

generally available in two sizes: 125mm x 125 mm and 156mm x 156 mm.

In the wafer line we currently employ

approximately 200 staffs and the capacity is 100 MW
